Endowment Giving

What is an Endowment?Gifts to an endowment are placed in an interest earning account.Your gift is never spent, and the interest earned is used to support Scouting forever.

Memorial or Honorary Gift:Give a gift to honor or memorialize an individual. These gifts are placed in our endowment and will support Scouting forever.

James E. West Membership: This must be cash or securities equal to $1,000. The individual being honored or contributing the gift receives a framed certificate, pin for civilian wear and a Square Knot for the Scout uniform. The gift must and should be in addition to and not replace or diminish the donor’s annual Friends of Scouting support. Many individuals and corporations make these gifts either on behalf of someone else- such as in honor of an Eagle Scout, Silver Beaver recipient, a retirement, a special accomplishment, or anniversary or in memory of a special individual.
