Aquatics Weekend 2014

August 15-17, 2013 Camp Boddie & Pamlico Sea Base

REGISTRATION AND FEES

Check in Friday, August 15th: 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Check out Sunday, August 17th: 10:00 am

Cost: $55 per Scout / $15 per adult. Includes all meals starting with Saturday breakfast. A late registration of $10 per person applies to all registrations received after August 1st, 2014.

HOUSING and What To Bring

All participants should plan on bringing their own tents for camping. Showers and restrooms will be available for all participants.  All participants should bring appropriate swim wear and a pair of closed toed shoes for water front activities.

All paricipants should bring a completed Health and Medical Form. (The doctors’ signature portion is not required for weekend events)

MERIT BADGES AVAILABLE(Please see registration form on our webiste under Flyers)

All merit badge registration will be online through BadgeTracker. Once registrations are recieved the point of contact will recieve a username and password to BadgeTracker to schedule Scouts classes. Scouts will have the option of choosing either one or two merit badges to earn for the weekend. Some merit badges will be partial depending on time requirements. Please review all merit badge requirements to avoid any issues.

Swim Test – Please note that all water based merit badges requires that Scouts complete and pass the BSA Swim test to be classified as a swimmer. For safety reasons, Scouts who do not pass this test may not be allowed to participate in the class they registered for. Swim test will be available at the pool for all participants from 6:30 – 8:30 on Friday night after they have checked in.

Motorboating Program: (IMPORTANT) Participants must be 14 years old, show completion of a boaters safety course and bring a photo id. A boaters safety course can be completed online at www.boatus.org for free. It is important that participants print and bring the certificate with them to class. There is an additional cost of $5 per person for any participants in motorboating or watersports to cover fuel cost.
