Southern District (Serving Craven, Onslow, Pamlico, Jones, Carteret Counties)
Julie began her Scouting career in August 2021 in service to the Central District, had a stint as Council Program Director and is now excited for this new chapter. Her role will be to provide leadership and direct support to Southern District units, volunteers, membership recruitment, fundraising, and district level programs. Per this role, Julie will play a vital part in mentoring and supporting Rose Marie Kimbell (who serves Onslow and Jones counties). Under Julie’s guidance, we hope to develop a formidable customer service team in the Southern District. Julie is passionate about Scouting, the outdoors, enjoys the beach on her down time but is an extremely hard worker. She will need support from the district volunteer framework and looks forward to meeting and working with everyone. Some of her hobbies and interests outside of Scouting include hiking, running, and overall health and fitness. Julie is an outdoor enthusiast at heart and her hobbies greatly align with Scouting’s focus.
