The East Carolina Council is happy to announce that we have opened our registration for the 2023 National Jamboree that will be taking place from July 19 – 28, 2023 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
The following are qualified to register as participants in this once in a lifetime experience.
Any youth registered in Scouts BSA that will be at least 13 years of age and a first-class scout prior to the first day of jamboree and not have reached their 18th birthday before the last day of jamboree.
Due to the cancellation of the 2021 National Jamboree, registered members of Scouts BSA who are 18 prior to the first day of the jamboree and have not reached their 21st birthday prior to the end of the jamboree are able to participate as a young adult.
The cost for youth participants to attend is $1,900.00; this covers everything that is listed on the flyer below.
If you want to register your youth to attend the jamboree, please take the following steps.
One – Fill out the attached youth registration form and email it to Rick Nezbeth at rnezbeth@hotmail.com or mail it to him at 405 Fawns Creek Chase, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Two – Pay your initial deposit of $200.00 via Tentaroo https://ecc.tentaroo.com/admin2/login. For us to be able to properly account for all Tentaroo payments, they must be made via your personnel Tentaroo account and not a unit’s account. Please get with Rick Nezbeth @rnezbeth@hotmail.com if you have any questions about Tentaroo.
The payment plan is as follows: a total of $600.00 is due by July 31st 2022, a total of $1,300.00 is due by December 31st, 2022, and a total of $1,900.00 is due by March 31st , 2023.
Three – Log into the National Jamboree website and register your youth to be a jamboree participant. https://jamboree.scouting.org/participants/
Spots are limited, so register as soon as possible to secure your youth’s spot.
