2009 Fall Product Sale
Trails-End Popcorn
The flagship fundraiser of the East Carolina Council accounted for over $450,000 in sales in 2008. Quality Trails End Popcorn offers an exciting prize program to motivate Scouts, and a quality product. Products include popcorn, trail mix, and an option to purchase popcorn for the military, and are priced from 10-50 dollars. There are two commission options for your unit to select from and the East Carolina Council High Adventure commission:
- 32% Commission with Prizes
- 35% Commission without Prizes (Troops and Crews only)
- 50% Commission no prizes (High Adventure and Jamboree only)
Time Life Magazine Sales
A great alternative for customers who don't want to purchase popcorn the Time Life Magazine sale is setup to work in conjunction with the popcorn sale. Scouts will have magazine order forms integrated with their popcorn forms. Scouts sell $10 and $20 magazine vouchers and the customer select their magazines. There are no prizes offered with the magazine sale so only one commission is available and the High Adventure commission:

- 50% Commission no prizes (High Adventure and Jamboree only)
Virginia Diner Peanuts
Virginia Diner Peanuts offer a great product for a great value priced from $8 - $22. Scouts participate in a take order sale. Virginia Diner Peanuts offer a great alternative to the popcorn sale in areas where a lot of units sell popcorn.

- On August 18 - Show and Sell orders Due
- On August 29 - Show and Sell Pickup
- On September 7-11 - Media Blitz for Sale
- On September 8 - Unit Reporting Begins
- By September 12 - All Units have held product sale kick-off
- On September 11-19 - Blitz Week
- On September 19 - Blitz Week Turn-in (in districts)
- On November 2 - Sale Ends
- On November 3 - Final Unit Report
- On November 6 - Unsold Inventory due from Show and Sell Sale
- On November 6 - Orders are due to ECC
- On November 21 - Product Distribution
- On December 5 - Caswell Product Distribution
- By December 11 - Money Due to ECC
- By December 28 - Caswell Money Due to ECC
