| Council Activities and Civic Service Committee The Council level committee is a group of experienced Scouters that help the District Committee Activity and Civic Service committees plan a balanced schedule of 'fun' and civic activities. They recruit teams to carry out activities such as Scouting for Food, local participation in civic events and community service, Camporees, Scout Shows, and planning calendars. They encourage and help maintain a balanced budget for the activities. This committee also helps organize and promote National Scouting Events such as National Jamboree and Scouting Anniversary Week. Each District Activities and Civic Service Chair is a part of this committee and helps to recruit other adults to promote and work the events of the council. |
