9th Annual Pizza Hut Golf Tournament
This year's tournament benefitting the East Carolina Council will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Birchwood Country Club in Nashville. The tournament is chaired by Theron Riley, President and Tricia Robson, Marketing Manager of East Carolina Pizza Huts. Teams will compete in a super ball tournament, and enjoy lunch and dinner provided by Pizza Hut.

Proceeds from the tournament will help provide round up nights this fall for youth to join one of the 325 Boy Scout programs in the twenty counties served by East Carolina Council, BSA with offices in Kinston, NC. This is the third consecutive year that the local council has served more youth than the previous year. East Carolina Council, BSA serves those counties from Interstate 95, east to Ocracoke and from the Virginia line south to Topsail Island.
The Pizza Hut – BSA Golf Classic to benefit the Boy Scout program has grown by 40% over the last three years. Scout Executive Ray Franks stated, “We appreciate East Carolina Pizza Hut’s commitment to providing our council with the funding needed to expand the Scouting program to another 3,000 youth this fall.”
